Celebrity Hairstyles for 2011

Why it works:

Halle’s style is sweet and feminine, but quick and functional too. It’s perfect for her oval face shape!

Pros & cons:
Easy to style, hard to mess up; this style is a winner if you’re looking for a low maintenance chic ‘do.

Type of hair it's good for:
You’ll want to either have full, thick hair or have a lot of product on hand to achieve this style. Fine, thin hair has a hard time standing up on its own for long without help.

Face shape it's good for:
Honestly, you can have almost any face shape and get away with a cut like this, but your stylist will need to fine-tune it to suit your face. Long faces need more bangs, round faces need shorter sides, heart shaped faces more fringe, etc.

How-to Style:
Styling this cut is super easy! Use a little bit of styling paste or wax emulsified in your palms then distribute through the ends. Pull random sections in whatever direction you want them to go – that’s it! Try CHI’s Twisted Fabric Finishing Paste (2.6oz for approx $16)
